@svenove commented on GitHub (Oct 21, 2025):
I think this has been fixed in PR #516, which was merged yesterday.
@MrZaibot commented on GitHub (Oct 23, 2025):
Still don't work...
@svenove commented on GitHub (Oct 23, 2025):
The fix hasn't been included in a new release yet. Have to install it manually yourself until it is.
@rubenfonseca commented on GitHub (Nov 2, 2025):
Thanks so much for the update and all your work! Any idea when a release including this fix might be planned?
@cthulu commented on GitHub (Nov 3, 2025):
Not sure if we have to build ourselves locally for this fix, it GH Actions I see the build but no artifacts associated?
@cthulu commented on GitHub (Nov 9, 2025):
So, I've forked the OpenEPaper repo, created a new tag in my fork, which triggered the Release GH action, and then I have switched to that fork in OpenEPaper AP.
When I updated, no change, and no new options in the UI for Day Ahead tag type.I have checked and mymasterbranch contains the change from #516 so I am not sure what I am doing wrong ¯_(ツ)_/¯Correction, after waiting a bit this got refreshed and seems ok
@MrZaibot commented on GitHub (Nov 10, 2025):
You repo works fine. Thanks for you help.
@cthulu commented on GitHub (Nov 14, 2025):
@benv666 sorry to bug you here but with the changes merged in master and installed, In my setup the refresh stops at 13:45 or 14:15. It happened a few days after eachother. Can it be that there is some issue upstream, as I believe the new prices are known around 13-14:00. I think there is a Google Script that might be failing or something?
@benv666 commented on GitHub (Nov 16, 2025):
I have 4 tags here displaying the prices (with various settings), they've been running fine for weeks on my desk next to the AP.
A week ago the AP was moved to a different floor (in order to improve coverage there), but now the ones on my desk occasionally stop updating until I press a button (on the 4.2" ones) to force a refresh on them. Weirder, when they refresh they seem to pick up old timestamps (e.g. from 11:00 -> 11:!5 -> 11:30 while it's already 17:00)
Not exactly sure what's going on there, I'll try to dive into this, but don't have a lot of spare time on my hands right now.
Either way I'd argue this warrants a new ticket, and might be unrelated to the pricing update itself. (other than causing more refreshes).
