Hi there,

I have an unused Yalatech ESL demo kit lying around. It contains 6 ESL devices and the gateway / access point, which is powered by USB-C. The company also sent me some MQTT documentation for the access point. I assume that these ESLs are not supported by OpenEPaperLink.

I bought this before I knew about OpenEPaperLink. My plan back then was to hack on the AP, but the project never came to fruition (yeah, life, plans, etc.).

If there is a hardware hacker in this project who wants to have this, I'd want to donate it in the hope that you might put it to use in OpenEPaperLink instead of me dumping it as e-waste.

It appears that Yalatech has ceased operation by now, so there may be a number of now-unused or now-unusable Yalatech ESLs on the market. An alternative firmware for the ESLs might be a nice way to put new life into them.

Please send me a message if you're interested.
